SCRIP Coordinator Needed
The St. Therese SCRIP Program is
looking for a new Coordinator to help run the
SCRIP program effective August 2017
Position 1: Order and Inventory
Responsibilities include inventory
management, ordering all SCRIP, soliciting new SCRIP
vendors, maintaining and balancing the SCRIP checking
account, writing checks, arranging for SCRIP pickup
with SCRIP runners, managing SCRIP sellers and
runners and recruiting as necessary. The
position also handles marketing of the SCRIP program. The
coordinator works alongside the SCRIP
coordinator/bookkeeper and the job responsibilities are very
intertwined with the other team member. Candidates must be able to work in
the school every Monday, including summers, as well
as every Friday afternoon and extra hours when
necessary. (Times may vary according to schedule conflicts
Candidates must be willing to work
more hours during the holiday season. Candidates must
be regular SCRIP buyers, enjoy working with people,
have excellent communication skills, be very detail-oriented, have basic computer knowledge, have good organizational
skills and be able to perform all of the
SCRIP duties as listed above, as well as other projects and
tasks that may be asked of by the principal or pastor.
The job entails frequent communication with
customers, teachers, principal, priest and the St.
Therese SCRIP auditors. If interested in applying, please

ATTENTION LITURGICAL MINISTERS!
The diocesan Office of
Worship will be hosting a "Morning of Reflection" for liturgical
ministers on Saturday, June 24, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Charles
Borromeo Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
Led by diocesan
seminarians, this event can serve as an annual retreat for diocesan
extraordinary ministers and lectors, although anyone is welcome to attend. It is free of charge, but
pre-registration through the diocese is necessary. The registration form can be downloaded at our

SVdP Stuff a Truck
The Annual St. Therese Night at the Tin Caps,
sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will be Monday, June 26 at 7:05pm against
the South Bend Cubs. This will be a Family Feast Night with hot dogs, popcorn,
pizza slices and small drinks for $1 each, and Jake the Diamond Dog will be at the game for your
entertainment. A limited number of tickets in Section 114 are on sale in the
Parish Office for $8 each. For more information, please contact the office at
CUBS vs. REDS BUS TRIP
The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a bus trip to Cincinnati on
Saturday, July 1 for a 4:10 game. The $75.00 cost includes game ticket and
travel via Excursion Trailways coach bus. Proceeds will be used to support

Holy Spirits Pilgrimage on the Bourbon Trail
Friday-Sunday, July 7-9 Gethsemani Abbey & The Bourbon Trail, Kentucky
The Abbey of Gethsemani, the Cistercian monastery where Thomas Merton was a monk, is nestled in the heart of the Bourbon Trail, the historical epicenter of bourbon production. Come "renew your spirit" on this young adult pilgrimage which will explore the intersection of faith and culture, sacred and profane, spiritual and physical refreshment. OLDER AMERICAN DAY
Harvest House Older American Day will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. 943 Powers St., New Haven, IN on Monday, Sept.11th, beginning with Rosary at 10:20am and Mass at 10:45am in the church. This will be followed by lunch and entertainment at Orchid Events and Catering, 11508 Lincoln Hwy East, New Haven, IN. Tickets are $12 each. Reservations may be made by calling Bev Kline at 260-623-3979 by September 1st. No tickets will be sold at the door. All Catholic Seniors 55 and older are invited.
FORMED is back! Because we received a grant through the Legacy of Faith fund, we once again have a subscription for FORMED. FORMED has a variety of educational materials you are able to view at home or in a group setting. In order to evangelize others, you need to know your faith. SPARC (Small Parishes Actively Receiving Christ)
SPARC is a
Men’s Apostolate seeking to become closer to God through Prayer, Scripture and
Catechesis. Every man over the age of 18 is
welcome to meet in the parish office on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday’s of
each month at 7 p.m. The next meeting is November 9th. There will not be a
meeting on November 23rd,due to the Thanksgiving holiday. For additional

Rosary for Peace in the World and in Families
A few years back our Lady asked for prayer groups be formed. Here at St. Therese our group was formed and we are in our ninth year. We pray for peace in the world and in all families. Won't you please join us? We meet
every 2nd Tuesday of the month in the chapel at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there.
Divine Mercy Devotion
Now through the end of the Year of Mercy, St Therese Church will be having a Divine Mercy devotion. It will be held in the Chapel on the
first and third Tuesdays of every month following evening Mass (6:15pm) Spend time to learn more about the mercy of God, learn to trust in Jesus, and live your life as merciful to others as Christ is merciful to you.
